“Help the band program earn money every time you shop at Kroger. It’s easy. Sign up for a digital Kroger account at www.kroger.com and attach your Kroger Plus card. In ‘My Account,’ go to 'Community Rewards' and select the Blacksburg High School Band Boosters. You can also search for us with the code YS842. Once that is selected, Kroger donates a percentage of your spending to the Blacksburg band boosters when you scan your Kroger Plus Card.”

- For $200, put your student's name (or your family or business name) on the side of our trailer.
- These donations help the band boosters support our students

Calling all Volunteers!
- Parents: we hope you can sign up to help with at least one game or competition this fall. We ask that each family volunteer once a season per band student. We need all hands on deck to pull off a successful marching season. It's also a great way to meet other parents!
- If this is your first time volunteering, there is a checklist and assignments to make this a smooth process.
- There are still slots available, so please sign up and help us make this another great season!
Sign Ups:
- Sign up to volunteer at a band competition.
- There are six this year, and one is an overnight trip.
- Sign up to volunteer at a football game.
- There are five home football games this year.
- Sign up to sell beer at a Virginia Tech home football game (must be 18+ and do a 2 hr online training; earn $100 toward next year's march band registration for each volunteer shift completed)
- There are seven games we are signed up for this year. Plan for a 7-hour day (3 hrs before the game until the start of 4th quarter).

- In prior years, we have raffled off VT Basketball tickets as a winter fundraiser. We have plans to do this again.
